Description

Swan Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the north-west side of High Street in Riseley. The building features a colour-washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has a thatched roof. It has a two-room plan and stands two storeys high, with two windows on each floor, all of which are leaded 2-light horizontal sashes. The central entrance is a plank door situated under a gabled open porch. There is an off-centre red brick ridge stack. To the north-east gable end, there is a one-storey barn that has been converted to accommodation, featuring a plank door and a 2-light casement window. Additionally, there is a 20th-century one-storey addition to the south-west gable end.
