Description
Green Hedges is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of High Street in Thurleigh. The building features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame and has a thatched roof that is half-hipped at the west end. It has a four-room plan and is one storey high with attics. The ground floor includes four two-light casements with glazing bars, while the upper floor has three gabled dormers with similar casements. The left-hand cottage door aligns with a red brick ridge stack, and the right-hand cottage has a door to the right and a red brick integral stack at the east gable end. There is a lean-to addition at the west end and a single storey hipped thatched addition at the east end.
