Description

Sunnyside is a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. The walls are colour washed rough cast over a clay or timber frame, with some colour washed brick. The roof is thatched. The cottages have an overall 4-room plan, arranged over one storey and with attics. The ground floor features two 3-light casement windows, positioned to flank the two front doors, which are set off-centre. There are three gabled dormers with casements. All windows are 20th century replacements, featuring mock leading. Red brick stacks are located at each gable end. A colour washed brick and pantiled extension extends from the east end of the rear. The cottages are listed for their group value.
