Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Thurleigh High Street. It is constructed with a timber frame and colour-washed plaster, and has a thatched roof. The cottage has a three-room plan and comprises a single storey with attic space. The ground floor has two three-light horizontal sash windows with glazing bars, and one two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars. Two gabled dormers, also with tiled roofs, each contain a two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars. A part-glazed front door is present. There is one red brick double ridge stack and one red brick gable stack to the west. A single-storey thatched extension, built at the west end, features two 20th-century casement windows.
