Description
Compton Cottage is an 18th-century cottage constructed with a timber frame and finished with colourwashed roughcast render. It features a thatched roof and has a two-room plan, consisting of one storey and attics. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows, and the attic has two eyebrow dormers, each with casement windows. All the windows are 20th-century, consisting of two lights with diamond leading. The cottage has a central 20th-century tiled gabled porch. Additionally, there is a red brick central ridge stack and a red brick external stack on the north gable, along with 20th-century lean-to additions at the rear.
