Description

Mill Hill Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located in Bolnhurst and Keysoe. It features a timber frame with colour washed brick infill and a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-room plan and is one storey with attics. There are three windows on the ground floor, with the central window replacing the original front door, and two dormers above, all fitted with 20th-century two-light casements. A red brick integral stack is positioned at the southeast gable end. There is a 19th-century two-storey addition at the northwest gable end, constructed of colour washed brick with a slate roof, featuring 20th-century casements and a 20th-century front door under an open gabled porch. Additionally, there is a one-storey addition at the southeast gable end.
