Description
This cottage, located opposite Church Road, dates from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame, with the southwest gable end refaced in brick during the 19th century, and is finished with rough cast and colour wash. The cottage has a thatched roof and a three-bay plan, consisting of one storey and attics.
On the northwest elevation, there is a 20th-century door to the left and two 20th-century casement windows on the ground floor, along with one dormer window. A red brick double ridge stack is present. The southwest gable end has a two-light horizontal sash window on each floor, with a plank door to the right. Additionally, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension on the northeast gable end.
