Description
Sheepfields is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It features a timber frame that is clad in whitewashed brick at the bottom and whitewashed roughcast above, with the front frame exposed on the first floor at the rear and whitewashed brick infilling. The roof is plain tiled, with tile-hung gable ends, some of which are in a fish-scale pattern. The building has a two-bay end chimney plan, positioned at right angles to the lane.
The cottage is two storeys high, with a stack on the right end that is now enclosed by a single-storey extension. On the first floor, there are three casement windows, while the ground floor has two windows. To the left, there is a 20th-century gabled brick porch with a part-glazed door. To the right, there is a 20th-century extension featuring two metal windows and a part-glazed door.
At the rear, the cottage has two gabled through-eaves dormers and one window below on the left, along with three small casements on the right.
