Description
Bridgeham Farm House is a house dating from the early 16th century, with 17th and 20th century extensions at both ends, and clad in 19th century materials. The house has a timber frame that is exposed on the north elevation, while the south side is covered in red and brown chequerwork brick, featuring fishscale tile hanging in the gable to the right. The roof is covered with graded Horsham slabs on the south pitch, and plain tiles on the north side and over the extensions.
The house is two storeys high, with stacks located to the right of the centre on the south elevation. On the first floor, there are two three-light windows with diamond panes, and three windows below, one of which, located to the right of centre, replaces a former door and lobby entry. A 20th century gabled brick extension is present at the right end, with another extension set back and parallel to the gable. To the left end, there is a 20th century framed pentice with a gabled porch and a ribbed door set in margin lights. The north (rear) side features stepped gabled extensions that are at right angles to the centre, along with framed pentice extensions on either side.
