Description

This is a 16th-century barn located behind Waterland Farm House in Abinger, Ewhurst to Forest Green. The barn is timber framed and sits on a brick and stone plinth, with weatherboard cladding and a plain tiled roof. It features four framed bays and has a throughway to the left of the center. Inside, the barn has been re-roofed and includes a clasped purlin roof, jowled angle posts, and thick bracing above the middle rail on the first floor. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
