Description
This is a 16th-century barn located 10 metres northeast of Tilehouse Farm House. It features a timber frame set on brick and stone plinths, with weatherboard cladding and a plain-tiled half-hipped roof. The barn consists of five framed bays, with the ground level lower at the farmyard entrance. There are central opposing waggon entries. Inside, the barn has a queen post roof with arched and diagonal windbracing. The posts are jowled and braced, and there is arched bracing to the wall frame over the middle rail.
