Description
Dalton Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1700. It features colour washed rough cast over a timber frame, with a colour washed brick lean-to extension on the south gable end. The roof is thatched. The building has a two-bay plan and includes an integral red brick stack at the north gable end. It is one storey with attics. The front has a 20th-century casement window in the lean-to extension, an off-centre front door, and an adjoining two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars. There is also a small two-light casement window to the right. A tiled gabled dormer contains a two-light casement, and there is a two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars in the south gable attic.
