Description

Lavender Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1700. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has a thatched roof. The building has a three-room layout and is one storey with attics. There are three windows on the ground floor and three dormers above, all fitted with 20th-century casements. A colour washed brick double ridge stack is present. To the north gable end, there is a 20th-century lean-to extension that includes a 20th-century thatched porch and door at the intersection. The south gable end has a 20th-century hipped thatched porch. Additionally, there is a 20th-century one-storey and attic addition at the rear.
