Description

The Manor is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with later additions. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has a clay tile roof. The building has a T-plan layout, with one storey and attics in the cross-wing and two storeys in the main block. A 19th-century addition at the rear is constructed of colour washed brick with a slate roof.

On the southwest elevation, there is one two-light casement window, two two-light horizontal sash windows, and a gabled dormer with a two-light horizontal sash, all featuring glazing bars. To the left, there is an external two-stage red brick chimney stack with a dentil cornice on each stage. The entrance is off-centre, located under a 20th-century porch. An external red brick gable end stack is present on the southeast side. The southeast elevation includes two 20th-century casement windows in the cross-wing gable end, along with various window types in the main block, including two three-light horizontal sash windows on the first floor. There is a plank door with a wooden surround and a flat bracketed hood, aligned with the red brick double ridge stack. A 20th-century garage extension is located on the northeast elevation.

Inside, moulded crown posts can be seen in the roof space of the cross-wing, and the year 1570 is carved on the fireplace in the main block.
