Description
Dean House is a house from the early 19th century, featuring rendered walls and a hipped slate roof. The main block is double pile and has two storeys, with a lower two-storey block to the northeast. On the garden front, there are three sash windows on each floor, all with glazing bars, wood valances, and moulded architraves. The central ground floor window has a triangular pediment, while the flanking windows have entablatures supported by consoles. A string course runs at the first floor sill level, topped by a plain cornice and parapet. The northeast wing includes a cast iron verandah, a sash window with glazing bars, a part glazed front door, and a part glazed double door on the ground floor. The first floor has two round-headed sash windows with glazing bars and louvred shutters, and the corners are accentuated with quoins. On the road elevation, there are two sash windows with louvred shutters on each floor.
