Description

Brook End is a 17th-century cottage located on the west side of Brook Lane in Upper Dean. It features a timber frame with color-washed plaster infill on the first floor and 20th-century brick infill on the ground floor, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-room plan and includes 20th-century extensions at the rear and south gable end. It is one storey high with attics and has a central red brick ridge stack. The east elevation displays five 20th-century casements on the ground floor and three dormers with 20th-century casements above. The entrance is located at the rear, sheltered by a 20th-century porch.
