There is a red brick external stack on the east gable end. To the west gable end, there is a single-storey, two-bay extension that is also colour washed rough cast with an asbestos tile roof. On the north elevation, the cottage has a central plank door beneath a 20th-century porch, flanked by one two-light casement window and one two-light horizontal sash window, which is a later addition. The extension has one two-light horizontal sash window and one two-light casement window. All windows have glazing bars. Additionally, there is a one-storey lean-to extension on the south elevation.
