Description

Temple Farmhouse is a 17th-century farm cottage located in Bolnhurst and Keysoe. The building features a rough cast exterior over a timber frame, with some sections replaced in chequered brick. It has a half-hipped thatched roof and a rectangular plan consisting of three rooms, arranged over one storey with attics. The cottage includes two-light horizontal sash windows with glazing bars, positioned on each floor of the gable ends, as well as one on the ground floor and in the dormers of the front and rear elevations. A four-panel door is located on the front elevation. There is a red brick double ridge stack, and a single-storey brick and pantiled addition from the 19th century is attached to the rear elevation.
