Description
Old Post Office Thatched Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that features a timber frame with brick infill and a thatched roof, which has a brick stack at one end. The building is one storey plus an attic and has a two-window range. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century two-light casement window to the right and a smaller casement window to the left. In the attic, there is a 20th-century casement window set in an eyebrow dormer, along with a 20th-century French door in the center. At the rear, there are two additional 19th-century two-light casements, one on the ground floor and one in an eyebrow dormer. Inside, the cottage features a chamfered spine beam and an open fireplace.
