The Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that features a timber frame with a brick gable end and a thatched roof with end stacks. It has one storey and attics, with two dormers. On the ground floor, there are two horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, one of which is located to the south next to the doorway.
