Lilac Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that originally consisted of two dwellings. It features a timber frame with roughcast rendering and has a thatched roof, which includes two dormers and a gault brick ridge stack. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has two original doorways with plank doors, located on either side of two horizontal sliding sash windows.
