Description

Lime Cottage is a 17th century cottage located on the west side of Great Paxton High Street. It features a gable end facing the road and is constructed with a timber frame that is roughcast rendered. The building has a plan consisting of two bays and a lobby entry. The steeply pitched roof is covered with plain tiles, though it was originally thatched, and includes a ridge stack. The cottage has two storeys and attics. On the south elevation, there are three modern windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, with a doorway situated opposite the stack.
