SOUTHOE AND MIDLOE TL 16 SE 3/8 BOUGHTON LODGE 15.3.83 FARMHOUSE, GV II

Farmhouse. Mid C17 of three bays with lobby entry. C18 and C19 wings to East and West. Red brick, refronted on East side with gault brick in mid C19. Tile and slate roof with ridge stack and end stack to South. Two storeys. Two flush wood frame hung sashes with glazing bars to each storey. Entry opposite stack with early C19 doorcase. Four blocked window openings in South gable end wall. Gabled stair turret to West wall. Timber framed, roughcast rendered. Possibly late C18 West wing with roof raised and floor added mid C19. Red brick ground floor, gault brick first floor. Painted. Plain tile roof of shallow pitch. Range of three recessed hung sashes with glazing bars. Mid C19 East wing. Gault brick. Slate roof with dentil eaves cornice and gault brick ridge stack. Two storeys. Cambered arches to two recessed hung sashes with glazing bars. Two similar windows at ground floor. R.C.H.M.
