Description

This is an 18th-century cottage located on the south-east side of High Street in Riseley. It is constructed with a timber frame and colour-washed rough cast rendering, topped with a thatched roof. The property presents a gable end to the road and has one storey with attics. Modern casement windows are set into the road gable, while the south-west elevation retains a single two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars. Two red brick ridge stacks are visible. The original plan comprised three rooms.
