Description
No. 95 High Street is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The main block is timber framed, featuring a rough cast southwest gable end and a red brick stretcher bond facade at the front. It has an old clay tile roof and a three-room plan across two storeys. The ground floor has two sash windows, while the first floor has three, all set in reveals with glazing bars and flat arches. The central entrance features a six fielded panel door with an architrave and a cut bracketed hood above. A central red brick double ridge stack with a dentil cornice is present.
To the northeast, there is a block that is partly colour washed rough cast over timber frame, topped with an asbestos roof. This section has three bays and a gable end facing the road, consisting of one storey with attics. The road elevation includes a 20th-century casement window on the ground floor and a two-light horizontal sash window on the first floor. The southeast elevation features a leaded casement window and a plank door, along with another red brick double ridge stack.
