Description
Cromwells and Littlefields is a house, now divided into two dwellings, dating from the 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. The building has two storeys and features a plain red tiled roof over the main range, which includes gabled crosswings on both the right and left sides, an outshot, and a gabled dormer on the left, along with wings at the rear. The façade has a five-window range of quarter paned sliding sashes, with a hipped, tiled bay on the left crosswing and a lean-to bay on the right side of the main range. There is a 19th-century leaded window in the right crosswing. The entrance is off centre, featuring a four-panel door with two lights, a flat canopy, and moulded brackets. To the right crosswing, there is a six-panel door in a plain surround. The building is adorned with three red brick chimney stacks, brackets at the eaves, and ornate barge boards on the right crosswing.
