Description
Bridge House Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the late 15th century, originally built as a hall house, with additions and alterations from the 16th century and later. The building has one storey and attics, featuring two gabled dormers. It has a red plain tiled roof, with a gabled crosswing on the right side and a 20th-century lean-to porch on the left. The structure is timber framed and plastered, with a weatherboard plinth. There are two small vent windows and two casement windows with glazing bars, along with a plank and muntin door. Inside, there is a crown post roof from the late 15th or early 16th century, an original mullioned hall window, and several shutter slots.
