Description

Watch House Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 16th century. It has one storey and an attic, topped with a plain red tiled roof featuring three gabled dormers. The structure is timber framed, with sections that are plastered and others that are weatherboarded. There is a three-window range of diamond leaded casements and an off-centre boarded door that is sheltered by a flat canopy supported by brackets. The cottage has two square red brick chimney stacks and an outshot at the rear. Inside, it features a crown post roof, original fireplaces, and heavily timbered construction.
