Description
The Watch House is a house, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier. It has an L-shaped plan with later additions and alterations. The house is two storeys high and has a plain red tiled roof. Construction is timber-framed and plastered. The front facade features a three-window range of double-hung sliding sash windows. A central, gabled porch was added in the 20th century, with a board door. The rear wing has a dormer with retaining 17th-century bargeboards. Two external chimney stacks are red brick, and an original central chimney stack is of concertina red brick.
