Description

Oxneys Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 15th century. It features a hall and a gabled crosswing, along with two additional gables from the 16th or early 17th century, as well as later additions and alterations. The building has two storeys and a red plain tile roof. It is timber framed and roughcast rendered, with the frame exposed on the right gable and the left sidewall, which has an arched door opening to a now-demolished crosswing. There are three range windows on the first floor and two range windows on the ground floor, both from the 20th century. Inside, there are arched braced tie beams and a cross quadrate Crown Post roof structure, along with oriel windows.
