Description

Farriers is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a half-hipped gambrel roof covered with red plain tiles. The building has one storey and an attic, which includes two catslide dormers. There are 20th-century small paned casement windows arranged in three ranges. A 20th-century enclosed gabled porch with a red tiled roof leads to a 20th-century door. An off-centre red brick chimney stack is also present. The cottage has group value with the house to the left.
