Description

Dovecote Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, with a 20th-century porch and extension. The structure is timber framed and plastered, featuring a weatherboarded base. It has a thatched roof that extends to the right, while the left addition has a red plain tile roof. The cottage is one storey with attics, including an eyebrow dormer. It has a three-window range of 20th-century diamond leaded casements and a small door located under the eaves on the right. There is a central gable porch, also red tiled and enclosed, which contains a 20th-century door. A central chimney stack made of red brick has yellow brick dressing.
