Description
Wood Hall is a house with an 18th-century front range that has undergone later alterations, and it features a rear wing that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. The building is timber framed and plastered, with 20th-century batten decoration on the front. It has a red plain tiled roof, and the chimney stacks are not visible from the front. The house has projecting eaves and is two storeys high with attics, which include two gabled dormers. The front has a three-window range of three-light cross-transomed leaded casements. To the left, there is a red tiled porch that is open on the far left, leading to an enclosed front gabled entrance porch. There is a 20th-century plank and muntin door on the right return of this porch. To the right of the main house is a single-storey range with a red plain tiled roof that is hipped to the right, which has an attached range at the rear. The rear range features double garage doors, while the front range has a two-light casement window. The original wing is located at the rear left of the property.
