Description
The Rising Sun Inn is a public house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with later alterations. It features a timber frame and is plastered, topped with red plain tiled roofs. The building has rear chimney stacks on the right and left crosswings, and a central chimney stack made of red brick, with the rear right stack being plastered. The structure is designed in an H-plan and stands two storeys high. It has a window arrangement of three sections, each with two light small paned casements. There are two doors, both with two panels and two lights; the door on the left has a moulded surround, while the door on the right has a plain surround.
