Description
This is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century, or possibly earlier, and altered in later periods. It’s timber-framed with pargetted panels, and has a red plain tile gambrel roof. No chimney is visible from the road. The cottage has one storey and attics, featuring two grey slate catslide dormers and 19th-century casement windows. These windows are small-paned, vertically sliding sash windows, set in moulded surrounds with pentice boards above. A small central light is also present. A 20th-century half-glazed door is located on the left return.
