Description

Tape House is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. It features a red plain tiled roof and a central red brick chimney stack. The building has buttresses at the left and right angles and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has three windows, while the ground floor has four windows, all of which are leaded two-light casements with transoms. The entrance is marked by a centrally located vertically boarded door. Inside, the cottage showcases an exposed timber frame and a restored inglenook fireplace.
