Description

The Croft is a cottage that dates from the 16th or 17th century or possibly earlier. It is constructed from timber framing and plaster, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The cottage features red brick external chimney stacks on both the right and left sides, with the right stack being particularly large and having tabled offsets. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range consisting of 19th-century casements and horizontal sliding sashes. There are pentice boards on the ground floor, and the central entrance is a recessed door that is vertically boarded and also has a pentice board above it.
