Description

Cresswell Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th century or earlier. It features a timber frame with panel pargetting and has a plastered plinth. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and is hipped to the left. There is a central red brick chimney stack with six octagonal shafts, and an external plastered stack to the right. The building is L-shaped with a crosswing at the rear and includes a single-storey lean-to on the right side. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range of vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, along with a small off-centre light. A door is located at the rear.
