Description
Ovington Hall is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier. It features a timber frame that is plastered and has a hipped red tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a four-window range of 20th-century leaded three-light casements with transoms. There is a panelled door with a light above it, located off-centre to the right, and there are external red brick chimney stacks on the left and right. Although the original frame is now covered in plaster, remnants of the original mullion windows can still be seen, and documentary evidence suggests the building dates to around 1600. There are also some details from around 1800, including a stick staircase.
