Description

Silver End is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a thatched roof that has a curved dormer on the right side. The building has two rendered chimney stacks, located off centre and on the left external wall. It is one storey high with attics and has a three-window range of 20th-century casements. The central entrance is an enclosed thatched porch with a vertically boarded door. Inside, there are chamfered bridging joists and through bracing to the walls, along with a side purlin roof construction.
