Description

Milkwood is a cottage dating back to the 16th century, with later additions and alterations, and a rear extension. It is a timber-framed building, now plastered, with a projecting crosswing to the right. The thatched roof extends to the left of the crosswing, creating a porch. The cottage is one storey high with attics. It has a regular arrangement of small, multi-paned casement windows. A 20th-century plank and muntin door is fitted with a window to its side. A red brick chimney stack is visible on the right side of the building.
