Description
Upper Farmhouse is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with later additions and alterations. It has a T-shaped plan and is constructed from timber framing and plaster. The roof is covered with red plain tiles and features hipped sections with gablets. The building has two storeys and a four-window range made up of 19th and 20th-century casements, including one flat-roofed bay on the left side of the ground floor. The entrance includes a four-panelled door with two lights, a frieze, and a flat canopy above. There is a 16th-century red brick chimney stack on the left side, which has attached octagonal shafts. Additional structures have been added to the rear of the farmhouse.
