Description

The Willows is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. It is one storey with attics and features a two-storey extension from the 19th or 20th century on the right. The original structure is timber framed and plastered, topped with a thatched roof that is hipped to the left. The right extension has a grey slate roof. There are red brick and plastered chimney stacks, one on the left and another on the right extension. The cottage has a 1:1 window arrangement and vertical boarded doors located at the centre and the left return. Inside, the roof is constructed with side purlins, and the floors are made of oak boards. The first floor has 18th-century beaded walling.
