Description

Millfield House is a cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, with 20th-century extensions added to both the right and left sides. The original cottage is timber framed and plastered, featuring a thatched roof with two eyebrow dormers. It is a single storey with an attic and has three ranges of 20th-century leaded casements and doors on either side. The extensions are two storeys high, with a grey slate roof and a combination of plastered and weatherboarded surfaces. Inside the cottage, there are jowled storey posts and stop-chamfered beams.
