Description
Keeper's Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 20th century. It has a timber frame, is plastered, and features a thatched roof. The cottage has three bays facing northeast and includes a central stack, creating a lobby entrance. To the left, there is a 19th-century single-storey extension with a roof made of handmade red clay tiles. At the rear of the left end, there is a single-storey lean-to extension that has a roof covered with corrugated asbestos. Additionally, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension with a flat roof at the rear of the right end. The building is one storey high with attics and features two 19th-century horizontally sliding sash windows with 12 lights each, along with one 20th-century casement window and a 20th-century door. The wide rafters are visible below the eaves.
