TL 518 068 MAGDALEN LAVER 5/38 Leydens Cottage II

Cottage, C17 or earlier. Timber framed, plastered with weatherboarded dado, roof thatched. 2 bays aligned approx. E-W, aspect S, with internal chimney stack at W end. Lean-to extension at E end. C20 single storey extension to W, roofed with machine made red clay tiles. Single storey with attic. C20 door in lean-to porch roofed with machine-made red clay tiles, 3 C20 casement windows leaded and one not leaded, C20 casement window, leaded, in tiled gabled dormer. Roof hipped to E, forming catslide over extension, gabled to W. Some framing exposed internally. Longitudinal joists, unchamfered.
