Description
The outbuilding located to the east of Bovinger Lodge is a Grade II listed structure, originally used as a cowshed. It dates from the 18th century, although it may contain earlier elements. The building is timber framed and covered with weatherboarding, featuring an aisle at the rear supported by arched braces to the aisle posts. It has a brick plinth and a roof made of red plain tiles. There are three 18th-century boarded doors and three window openings. The current frame includes hanging knees to the tie beams, a side purlin roof, and through bracing to the walls.
