Description
The Green Man Public House is a 17th-century building that was converted from a house into a public house. It features a timber frame with decorative pargetting in various panel designs and a weatherboarded dado. The roof is covered with handmade red clay tiles. The building consists of four bays oriented approximately east to west, with the main entrance facing north. There is an axial chimney stack on the second bay from the east and an external chimney stack on the west gable end.
Additionally, there is a single-storey section with a pitched roof at the east end, which is connected to the main building. A single-storey extension with a hipped roof is located in the middle of the front elevation. At the rear, a 20th-century extension creates a T-shaped plan and is also single-storey with attics. The public house has two glazed doors, one of which is located at the front of a tiled gabled porch. There are three double-hung sash windows from the 20th century and two gabled dormers with 20th-century casement windows.
