Description
Thatched Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is timber framed and plastered, featuring a thatched roof. The building has three bays facing east and a central stack. To the left, there is a single-storey extension from the 19th or early 20th century, which has an end stack and is roofed with handmade red clay tiles. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension. The cottage is one storey with attics and includes one 19th-century and two 20th-century casement windows, one 19th-century horizontal sash window with 12 lights, and two 20th-century casements in swept dormers. The entrance has a 20th-century door, and the roof is a half-hipped gambrel style.
