Description

The Old Half Moon is a house that dates back to the 16th century or possibly earlier, with later alterations, additions, and restorations from the 20th century. It features a timber frame that is parget plastered, with red plain tiled roofs and three red brick chimney stacks. The building has projecting gabled crosswings on both the right and left sides, with the left crosswing jettied. It stands two storeys high and has a window arrangement of three sections, each containing small paned vertically sliding sashes with horns. There are remains of a mullion window on the right return. The entrance features a four-panelled door with two lights and a pentice board above it.
